Announcing the first Roam Travel Group Trip
UPDATED: Check out Matt’s annotated video overview of the trip itinerary and details online. It’s got a lot of great info, please reach out if you have questions!
When I was thinking about launching Roam Travel, providing advice and building travel plans for my clients was always something I wanted to offer. Over the last few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing clients, with trips from Hawaii to Croatia and everywhere in between.
But something was missing.
In between the intake calls, spreadsheets, and Google Maps, I had (and still have!) a lot of fun spending time huddled over my laptop curating, crafting and polishing the perfect trips. And largely speaking, everyone’s been happy with the results.
As I was creating these adventures, I found myself wanting to experience some of them for myself. To get out from behind the laptop and lead trips of my own. To revisit places I’ve visited before or explore new ones with other like-minded travelers.
I’ve also had the privilege of going on several small group trips all over the world, from India to Guatemala to Utah. And while there’s something so special visiting a place with a friend, partner, or even solo, I’ve had some great experiences with small groups, even strangers!
In that same spirit, I’m so excited to offer a group trip to Glacier National Park this summer, August 17-24, 2024. It’s 7 full days of hiking, exploring, kayaking, alpine lakes, wildlife, and fresh mountain air. What’s not to love?
You can read more about the trip and itinerary here. Here are a few of the trip highlights:
Hike the Trail of the Cedars and Avalanche Lake
Hike the Highline Trail
Explore the town of Polebridge, MT
Take a beautiful drive on Going-to-the-Sun Road
Hike Siyeh Pass
Kayak on Lake McDonald
Hike Grinnell Glacier Trail
I'm looking for SIX MORE travelers to join me on this wild ride and "beta test" this thing. I'm offering this experience at a heavy discount over what I'd typically charge for a 7-day trip complete with lodging, food, ground transportation, etc. I've seen similar trips go for well over $4,000 per person. This is a steal, folks.
Who's in?!
